TE 88XL PASTE       

TE 88XL Paste improves rubber flow considerably, eliminates blisters and air bubbles, and reduces molding flash and scrap to 1% or less. It also reduces compound nerve and eliminates shrinkage.

Without mold lubricant or spraying, TE 88XL releases molded parts of highest quality. Molds are not opened for spraying. Temperature is maintained between heats for faster molding cycles. TE 88XL Paste keeps molds clean and free from buildup.

TE 88XL Paste provides a high quality, glossy, non-greasy, slip-resisting finish for molded and extruded units.

TE 88XL Paste is highly effective in all synthetics, natural rubber, rubber blends, thermoplastics. It does not bleed out of cured parts and is non-staining. TE 88XL Paste is stable and non-volitalizing to 420°F.

Use TE 88XL Paste in dry compounds.

TE 88XL is also available in a powder form.

TE 28-G9 Paste provides fast rubber breakdown, reduces banbury and open mill mixing cycles by 1/3 to 1/2, and lowers greenstate rubber viscosity with no change to cured hardness.

No premasticating or remilling are required. Rubber compounds are mixed in one mixing cycle, providing big savings in power use and a large increase in mixing capacity. By lowering rubber viscosity, TE 28-G9 Paste allows much faster calendering and extruding. With improved flow of the rubber compound, smaller molding presses can be used to mold large parts.

TE 28-G9 Paste admixes quickly into all rubber compounds. Blends of dissimilar and off-specification rubbers are easily broken down, mixed and processed. Adding 1% TE 80 at the end of the mix after the accelerators improves processing.

TE 28-G9 Paste is recommended for 80 durometer or lower.

TE 28-G9 is also available in powder form.

TE 70 PASTE

TE 70 Paste is a very low cost internal lubricant/process aid for all rubber compounds, natural and synthetic. TE 70 Paste imparts improved processing by reducing rubber viscosity and plasticity, by giving good internal rubber lubrication to provide easy compound release from the molds and all rubber processing equipment.

TE 70 Paste also aids in blending of ingredients and ease of extruding. Rubber scorching is controlled with lower processing temperature, smoother running stocks. Molding defects due to faulty mold-flow and improper lubrication are reduced considerably. Finished parts have improved surface appearance.

Use level of TE 70 Paste is small, usually 1%. Rubber physicals and cure rate are not affected by TE 70 Paste. TE 70 Paste does not bloom out of cured parts.

TE 70 Paste imparts improved plasticization of dry rubber compounds which contain very little oil. TE 70 is also available in powder form. Both types give equal rubber processing and release.

TE 75 PASTE

TE 75 Paste is a unique blend of a fatty acid ester and a surfactant designed to improve the processing of dissimilar elastomers.

TE 75 Paste imparts a high degree of "wetting out" properties to dry, abrasive rubber compounds. TE 75 permits easy processing of otherwise very difficult to process formulas containing fine particle size carbon blacks or fillers by substantially reducing elastomeric surface tension and Mooney plasticity. With TE 75 Paste in the compound, Banbury mixes drop out in one drop as a fine homogeneous mass, with a smoother, wetter consistency. Marked improvement in dispersions and considerable improvement in flow are achieved.

TE 75 Powder imparts much improved heat aging to rubber compounds and will not stain or discolor. Used in only small percentages, usually 1%, use cost is low - physicals and cure rate are not affected - formulas need not be changed.

TE 75 Powder also serves as a valuable aid in black master batches to achieve superb dispersions of difficult to admix fine particle size carbon blacks and fillers.

As a Dispersion/Homogenizing agent, TE 75 Paste is an effective processing aid for the initial breakdown of dissimilar elastomers. Improves processing and dispersion. Most all compounds will benefit by reduced mixing time, improved mill handling, increased mold flow and increased extrusion rates.

TE 75 is also available in a powder form.

TE 80 PASTE

1 PART TE 80 Paste equals 3-4 parts DOP, disbutylphthalate, butyl oleate, process oils for plasticizing Nitrile, Hypalon, Neoprene, and other rubbers. Less TE 80 Paste is required than chemical or petroleum plasticizers. TE 80 Paste is rubber compatible, non-staining, and does not bleed out. TE 80 Paste is difficult to extract and is stable to 440°F.                    

Use TE 80 Paste to lower compound cost, improve adhesion and abrasion. Cure systems need less acceleration with TE 80 Paste. Cure is not retarded as with other plasticizers. TE 80 Paste also gives excellent processing and release. Other plasticizers provide no release of rubber compounds.

TE 80 Paste lubricates internally and externally. Entrapped air is released, heat blisters and porosity are prevented, and the finish is much improved.

TE 80 is also available in a powder form.

TE 80 POWDER       

TE 80 Powder is a unique blend of a fatty acid alcohol and a fatty acid ester designed to improve the processing of specialty elastomers. ECO, AEM, FKM and FEPM compounds will benefit by reduced mixing time, improved mill handling, increased mold flow, and increased extrusion rates. A slight peptizing action will be noticed with NR.    

TE 80 Powder imparts a high degree of internal lubricity and lowers plasticity dramatically in rubber compounds. Its plasticity reducing effectiveness in rubber compounds in only small percentages is outstanding.

TE 80 Powder imparts considerable improvement to surface finish by giving a high shining, new quality appearance to molded parts. TE 80 Powder will eliminate sales and merchandising problems due to drab, poor appearance.

TE 88 POWDER       

TE 88 Powder is a unique blend of a chemical peptizer, release agents and two fatty acid esters. In addition to reducing viscosity, TE 88 Powder was designed to improve mold release and improve mold flow.

TE 88 Powder is an effective processing aid for almost all elastomers. TE 88 Powder will peptize NR and some SRs. In addition to reduced mixing time, improved mill handling, increased mold flow and increased extrusion rates, compounds will exhibit improved mold release.
